General information: after I started guitar lessons a few years ago, I became aware of the phenomenon "Cigar Box Guitar" via Youtube. After a workshop I started making cigar box guitars, license plate guitars and some Diddley bows.

I strive for reuse of materials. I prefer to use original cigar boxes including the small signs of wear that are sometimes on them. Wood that has already had another purpose, for example as a piece of furniture (an additional advantage is that this is a well-dried and worked-out material). Guitars that are aesthetically at the end of their "career" still deliver well-functioning parts. The main thing is always that the choice of materials contributes to the quality of CBG.
All CBGs are handmade by me and each one is unique.

Prices: the prices mentioned are exclusive of transport costs.

History: The cigar box guitar originated in the southern states of America, especially Mississippi. Workers in the cotton industry made simple guitars from available, cheap resources (such as cigar boxes, for example). And almost naturally, these were also used to play blues music.
